Birds share their song undisturbed
As if rush hour never existed
As if the sun rose for them
As if the wires were always theirs for resting
And it’s a song of life, of a future
As if there was no past
As if there was no need for more
Than the survival of the species
When Margaret & I we’re walking Stella the other day, a jackrabbit ran across the road and stopped in a neighbor’s yard. We used to see jackrabbits and roadrunners on the street. That was 40 year ago when we moved here.
Nature will fill in where we leave off, and think its perfectly natural
