Itsy Bitsy

The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
And the itsy bitsy spider climbed up the spout again

And down came the rain all over again.

And where is that famous spider sense I’ve heard all about?
Why doesn’t it know the rain is coming down again?
And with all its capability isn’t there another route
for such an itsy bitsy spider finding higher ground?

These are important life questions which must
be answered, for how could we explain just how
this world works if we can’t explain the itsy bitsy
spider and its life-long problem with the rain?

And don’t get me started on why the London
Bridge keeps falling down, despite its vaulted
construction, and the Baby is rocking so high in
a tree-top that keeps crashing down?

But we Rock-a-bye-Baby anyway.

It’s all so confusing, and maybe a bit revealing?
