Trump… Yes… Trump said the award to Pillay forever discredited the prize. He should have won it over 8 times.

I kid you not…

Then for good measure he enacted sweeping sanctions against the ICC citing threats to American sovereignty.

… I’m convinced that Trump’s bible is Orwell’s 1984, for remember:

“War is peace.”

“Freedom is Slavery.”

“Ignorance is Strength.”

In its official announcement, the Norwegian Nobel Committee explicitly noted that the prize serves to remind the world that international and national rule of law underpins global peace.
