A much needed blue tsunami
visited our mean red shores
and washed away the latest
and greatest form of corruption
in a complete rejection of Trumpism.

The American people are stupid
but not terminally so.
They elected him and protected
his cronies not once but twice.
But no this is not what we want.

But the Dems should not celebrate
and believe their win was anything but
a rejection of Trump and his enablers…
but they will… they’ll see it as a mandate
for their own crazy.

Yes Americans can be stupid but not terminally so.

Hopefully something is learned from the last ten years, and we’ll find ourselves in a era of cooperative government and meaningful improvements for everyone, even those who were ‘otherized’ over the last decade.
